MAX395 octal dil analogue spst switch with spi control
This device provides 8 completely independent bi-lateral analogue switches. The switches are simple on-off type, and are controlled by a shift register, which is loaded serially over SPI. The shift register has a data output which can be used to daisy-chain any number of these devices. The state of all switches is updated simultaneously on the rising edge of chip select. Device 'on' resistance is less than a 100 ohms, and switches can handle rail-to-rail analogue signals. With single sided supplies the chip can be used from 2.7V up to 16V, with double sided supplies it can be used from +/- 2.7V to +/- 8V.
The chip comes in a DIL 24 package, and is 0.3" wide.
This is CMOS, therefore it is static-sensitive.
