This is a Baum antique burglar resistant jewelry chest.
These safes are very rare and are becoming harder to find.
It is designed to give you excellent protection from burglary, pilferage or forced entry attempt.
It's interesting rectangular shape provides plenty of room to store all your valuable items like
cash, jewelry, cameras, personal electronics, etc....
It also comes with a tubular steel stand that appears to have been made for this safe.
This jewelry chest likely came from the factory mounted inside a very large fire safe so it
could give both burglar and fire protection at the same time.
By itself, it primarily used for burglar resistance and offers no fire resistance.
* Very rare, Yale bronze model 063-1/2, 4-wheel combination lock, this was an original factory upgrade
* 2" thick solid steel door and 1" thick solid steel body!
* Pre-drilled anchor holes to secure the safe to the wall or inside larger fire safe
* Over 100,000,000 possible combinations, WOW!
* Punch resistant dial and spindle deters forced entry attempts
* Drill resistant hardened steel plate protects the lock against forced entry.
* Lock and bolt-work has been carefully cleaned, inspected and lubricated to ensure proper operation.
* Custom tubular stand, made of thick walled tubing
* Exterior Dimensions: The safe measures 12 " High x 28 " Wide x 17.5 " Deep.
* Interior Dimensions: The safe measures 10" High x 26" Wide x 12.5" Deep.
* Weight is estimated at between 400 and 500 lbs.
