Acrylic Coated Glass Braided Electrical Sleeving
Description... This widely used Acrylic Glass Sleeving meets the needs of many electrical insulation applications. The sleeving is woven/braided glass, coated with acrylic, ensuring excellent mechanical & electrical qualities.
Applications... Used extensively by the armature winding trade where motor & transformer coil end joins are terminated and require covering. Also used a lot in the general electrical & auto trades to insulate bare wires & cable joints.
Properties... The combination of these two materials give excellent mechanical & electrical strength with the advantage of high temperature use. Dielectric strength is good and the materials are resistant to most industrial chemicals.
Classification... These composite materials are suitable for constant use at 155 degree C and are therefore classified as class F materials.
