This is the Op Amp IC & Audio Amplifier IC Design Kit #1 with PCB. This Design Kit consists of the very popular LM324 Quad Op Amp IC (DIP-14) and the extremely popular LM386 Audio Amplifier IC (DIP-8) along with the necessary passive components, such as resistors and capacitors, to make numerous exciting circuits. These two Linear ICs are the core of many circuits. The spec sheets for the ICs can be found at .
You also get 22 different values of leaded 1/4 Watt 5% Carbon-Film Resistors, 10 different values of Ceramic Disc Capacitors, 7 different values of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors, 5 different values of Trimpots, 1 Electret Microphone, a 9-volt Battery Clip, one 8 Ohm Miniature Speaker, and 10 pieces of the 1N4148 Signal Diode. All of these parts have long leads. To help you develop your circuits, you also get a PCB with 162 plated-thru holes spaced with .100 centers and 4 IC Sockets. The PCB has 4 mounting holes and is 1.1" x 2.0", double-sided.
The LM324 has 4 totally independent Op Amps which is a great deal. The LM386 is a low-voltage Audio Power Amplifier that can deliver 1.25 watts into 8 Ohms. This is a great combo kit which allows you to experiment with Op Amps and Audio Amplifiers. There are NO SMT parts in this kit. With these parts, you can make numerous circuits, such as microphone amplifiers, active filters, pre-amps, signal conditioners, audio amplifiers, headphone amplifiers, function generators and much more.
