Dempster #1 windmill govenor weight
As titled. Increasingly rare govenor weight for a 10ft Dempster #1 Vaneless model mill. 9 lbs in weight. 4" X 4" X 2" in size. Slot size is 1 1/4" X 3/8". This is the only model that used this particular weight. Though the mill was produced from 1900 to 1906 the later year versions used the 6"X 4" retangular block weight also poduced for the model #2's, 3's & 4's . Not as pleasing to the eye as an Eclipse moon, but far more rare.
