100 phillips egc nos 6021 dual triode vacuum tubes


This is for a factory sealed JAN Spec box one hundred (100) 6021 dual triode sun miniature tubes. The 6021 has a Mu of 35 at 100 plate volts (about that of the larger dual triode 12AY7). This 6021 would be great for a Mini Tweed era style amp front end or a really nice integrated amplifier for something like an iPOD.
This tube is ideal for small amplifiers where a rugged nature, low power requirement and high performance are the goal.
In the past there were octal preamp tubes from the 1950s and earlier. These gave way to the miniature tubes that are used today such as the 12AX7. These sub-miniature tubes have the same gain in reduced microphonics and increased reliability as the 12AX7 over it's larger brothers of the past when these are compared to a 12AX7.
Using one of these as a front end (such as in a Fender tone stack arrangement) and a second one as the phase inverter with two of the 6205 pentodes in a class A/B arrangement will give a killer small amp.
These are factory packed in original new boxes, and while not tested, they typically have a very quality high rate and actually I have never HAD a bad one (and we've used 1,000's of these in various audio production runs).
Very low adverse microphonics due to their small stature, these were used once in devices such as proximity fuses in artillery shells!
The photos of this tube shown are the 6112. These tubes look identical and are packed in the same original factory new boxes; five tubes to a sleeve, 20 sleeves in a master box of 100.
Premium subminiature type usable into the UHF region, permitting applications such as UHF and VHF oscillators and mixers. Especially suited for use in industrial and military airborne equipment which may be subjected to severe shock and vibration.
