Correx 3-30 gram gage w/ round tip tension gauge
This has only been used a couple of times by my hubby many years ago (he got it new) and has been stored away since.....case is a little scuffed from storage....gage in perfect working condition.
Correx Gram Force Gauges are manufactured by Haag-Streit, in Switzerland. This is the ideal all-mechanical instrument used to measure and calibrate the pressure or force required to actuate micro switches, relays, electric contacts, friction torque, etc.
* In aviation they are used as a component in Lift Transducers manufactured by Tronair.
* The feeler arm can be chemically sterilized for use by orthodontists, for tooth implants and in pediatric dentistry.
* Piano technicians will use the force gage to standardize hammer mechanisms.
* University labs have used the gages to measure biological response threshold.
* Thread and yarn tension in sewing and weaving machines.
Measuring range is 3-30 (g). Dial diameter is 1 1/2"....feeler length is 1 1/4".
