Parker hannifin nichols lsht hydraulic torque motor
This is a hydraulic drive motor from Parker Hannifin Corp. Gray Division. it has a 1 inch diameter keyed shaft that is 1 5\8 long. The motor body is 4 1\2 inches in diameter x 5 inches long and sports 7/8 O ring ports. The motor has a flush mounting surface with a 2 1\4 square bolt pattern using 3\8-16 tapped holes. The numbers on the motor are as follows: IGR 110-7-FS-0 L8 2396. This is a rugged little unit adaptable to a wide variety of uses including wheeled vehicles, conveyors, augers, vibratory shakers and many other high torque applications. This motor is brand new and is simmilar to the Char Lynn Eaton H series hydraulic motor number 101 1007 007.
I bet this motor would work well in model railroading with scales as follows: 3.5 inch gauge, 4.75 inch gauge, 7.25 gauge? . Gasoline engines and Hydrostatic drives power many of the scale "diesel" locomotives. This hydraulic motor might be fitted to drive the axles on a "truck" via a chain. This would provide realistic controlled seamless starts and stops with power enough to haul some spectator cars.
Part number is: IGR 110-7-FS-0 L8 2396 superceeded by 110A-164-FS-0
