Developed by Hayes UK in association with Bj rnax Sweden the patented Smoke-Stick has been designed to provide a smooth, thin, non-volatile smoke stream able to reveal the smallest leakage or air current.
Provides a pencil thin smoke pattern. Used for:
Checking integrity of boiler case seals
To meet current industry requirements, the Smoke-Stick is ideally suited to checking case sills and the general integrity of room-sealed fan assisted positive pressure type gas boilers and natural draught, negative pressure type appliances.
Smoke-Stick has many other smoke test uses including air-flow, ventilation, smoke detector monitoring and other functional checks; replacing the corrosive, toxic and hazardous (titanium tetrachloride) smoke tubes and bottles. Smoke-Stick, being clean and non-corrosive can be used safely in areas with electronic equipment and unprotected metal surfaces. Unlike smoke tubes and bottles Smoke-Stick has an almost unlimited shelf-life with no risk of leakage or poison inhalation.
Each Smoke-Stick (8 centimetre length), offers a minimum of 30 minutes of continuous smoke or ninety tests of 20 seconds each. Smoke-Sticks are sold in kits of three - Kit3 along with a purpose designed Smoke-Pen dispenser.
