An innovation for the pipe wrench

Pipe wrenches require the rotation of an Acme threaded nut in order to adjust the wrench jaw to a position which will allow it to grip a particular size object. It should be noted that the larger the wrench, the more desirable it is to have a quicker method to get the jaw opening to a specific size.
KIT s required task was to design the quick adjusting feature without changing or redesigning the pipe wrench in any way and to be able to adapt the product easily to the existing wrenches now on the market.
Through persistent research and testing, KIT has developed and produced a packaged product which replaces the existing adjustment nut on any brand of 14" -48" size pipe wrench. The product package includes a nut, clip and retainer which can be easily installed on an old, new, domestic or foreign manufactured pipe wrench without the use of tools or any alterations to the wrench.
