13" south bend lathe compound slide nut/ backlash adj.
One new shop made compound slide nut. Machined from SAE660 bronze. For South Bend 13"lathes. Has back lash adjustment to compensate for wear in screw and minimize or eliminate backlash.
This cross feed nut has a 1/2-10 RH. Acme thread and .749 dia. mounting boss with a 5/16-18 mounting bolt. Please compare these dimensions to existing parts to determine compatibility. I am a retired toolmaker and have been making replacement parts for my own machines. I will be listing additional spare parts that I have made.
