Hire & Rental Industry Tester that Stores Results
The new SafeCheck 8 tester has been designed specifically to ensure that traceable test results can be stored for rental products when PAT tested between hires.
These traceable test results will clearly demonstrate that a rental product supplied into the DIY or construction industry is electrically safe and functions correctly, at the time of hire. This is a basic requirement of the HSE, specifically under the Electricity at Work regulation which stipulates that the supplier must re-test the product to the same standard used at the time of manufacture (CE). The tests that must therefore be applied are earth/ground bond, flash/hipot, and function test to check correct operation this which may include current consumption, continuity, polarity and leakage measurements.
