Our plasma cutters require a supply of compressed air. Not a huge amount, and nothing fancy, as our plasma cutters come complete with a filter/regulator. This plasma cutter is capable of cutting through 20mm metal plate quickly and with ease. In fact, you can cut up to 26mm by running the torch slower over the metal, but the edges will not be as neat. This is known as a sever cut, as the edges will not be as neat as they would be in normal operation.
