New micrometer - - measures in inches - screw gauge
This instrument is used to measure small outside diameters, thickness, etc. It is ideal for engineering and technical schools to teach precision measurement techniques. It consists of a frame of solid brass with chrome satin finish and hardened steel screw. It is provided with a ratchet and locknut for accurate readings. Zero adjustment is possible. The pitch of the screw is 0.5in and the least count of 0.001in.
