The 9002D filter provides dual shade selection (10 and 11). Advanced electronics handle a variety of arc welding processes including some TIG applications. Helmet has patented exhaust vents for reduced stuffiness.
3M Speedglas Helmet 9000 with patented exhaust vents to help reduce stuffiness. The 3M Speedglas 9002D auto-darkening filter (ADF) offers two shades (10 and 11) with shade 3 light state. Shade 5 off state for torch work. High and low sensitivity settings.
Auto-darkening filter for stick, MIG and most TIG welding processes (more than 20 amps). Shade 3 light state, with an off state of shade 5 which can be used for gas/torch work. It has two user-selectable dark shades 10 and 11 and two sensitivity levels which makes it easy to adjust to the welder's preference. Eye-level sensors are difficult to block. Estimated battery life is 2000 hours. Auto-off turns off filter 60 minutes after last arc. Viewing area is 3.57 in x 1.68 in (91 mm x 43 mm). Operating temperature 23 degrees F to 131 degrees F (-5 degrees C to 55 degrees C).
