COSTER 1" Direct Acting Solenoid Valve. N.C.

Function: 2/2 [2-port] Direct Acting Normally Closed [opens when coil energized].
Fully ported [internal orifice is full port size - no restriction of flow occurs].
Valve is direct acting not a 'servo' or 'pilot' operated valve. i.e. It does not require an minimum inlet port pressure for operation.
Valve operates automatically on and off. It does not require a manual reset.

GAS: Valve is intended for sale as a GAS SAFETY SHUT-OFF Valve. It has GASTEC certification. European approval EN 161, Class A, Group 2
OTHER: Obviously, it's applications are not limited to use with gas. In principle it is constructed like any other solenoid valve. But aluminium bodied. The internal seals are NBR and have good compatibilty with a wide range of fluids. However I cannot vouch for the valves performance or safe operation if used outside of the manufacturers recommendations.
WARNING: The solenoid surface temperature can reach 70 C during continuous operation.
The Valve is fitted with an internal strainer mesh to prevent ingress of particulate solids.
Ports on valve are 1inch BSP [parallel] thread. Valve is supplied with 2pcs quality WADE 28mm Compression Fittings. If you do not want me to send these fittings with the valve then I can refund 4 on the sale price.

Solenoid valves will not tolerate particulate material or dirt. This valve is fitted with internal strainer mesh.
CONDITION: I am listing this valve as used. It came from a company workshop clear out. With no paperwork or packaging. So it has most likely been fitted and removed - but it is in clean, fully functional condition [see picture] just some marks to the silver I.D. label. I have checked the internal seals and moving parts. The seals are in perfect as new condition. All internal metal surfaces including the strainer mesh are clean and bright as new. No wear, corrosion or dirt. The 1"- 28mm fittings are brand new.
