While they may work when we try them, it must be remembered many of these items have been around for decades. They have probably spent a good part of that time in not the most ideal of environments such as an attic or basement.
All things considered it is impossible to guarantee they will still work for ANY amount of time after we have tried them.
We recommend that vintage electronics whether purchased from us or someone else, should be checked and serviced for any faulty or likely to fail from age components before being put into use.
HICKOK IN CIRCUIT TRANSISTOR TESTER MODEL 890
This unit runs on batteries, four C cells, one 22 1/2 volt and one unknown as it is missing. This tester will test transistors both in and out of circuit. We are unable to test this unit but everything looks to be in good condition inside the set.
All items are described to the best of my ability.
