Refurbished famco mini-linker sausage link cutter
This is a newly refurbished Famco mini linker. This linker will crank out five and a half inch sausage links at a rate of up to 260 links per minute. The mini linker works by "crimping" a stuffed sausage casing in it's pincers and cleanly cutting it off. All you do is push your filled casing through the white "donut" on the end of the machine shown in the first picture. When you insert it far enough, the pincers will grab the casing and pull it through the machine. The pincers clip the casings every five and a half inches and deposit the links in a bin you place under the outfeed chute. Just like that you've got a bin of individual links! This little machine can really speed up your operation if you've got a butcher shop where you're making individual sausage links.
This unit was recently refurbished by the manufacturer (Famco - Pittsburg, PA). You can get a feel for what they make at http:// /machines.htm . Get a great deal on a machine that is good as new and can eliminate manual linking - one of the most laborious steps in the sausage making process!
