Tektronix TM503 w/DC503 x 2, FG501 plug-in's

Tektronix TM503 Main Frame with DC503 Universal Counter & FG501 Function Generator.
Unit powers up but unsure if DC503's are working correctly. The power light does not light up on the FG501.
The DC 503 Universal Counter offers counting to 100 MHz and provides the versatility of six measurement funcitons: frequency, period, ratio, time A to B, time manual, and totalize. The two channels (A and B) have individual BNC inputs and separate trigger level, attenuator, and coupling mode controls. Seven-digit readout is via seven-segment light emitting diodes (LEDs) with automatically positioned decimal point; leading zeros (to the left of the most significant digit or decimal point) are blanked. A flashing display indicates register overflow. The DC 503 offers high performance in a variety of applications. Its interval measurement capability with selectable clock rates is useful for digital equipment design and maintenance, particularly digital control and data communications work. The A-channel frequency range of dc to 100 MHz serves in communication and rf use. High resolution measurements of low frequencies are available quickly in the period mode with averaging up to 1 million periods available. TIME MANUAL provides an electronic stop watch function with selectable clock rates. TOTALIZE counts and display the total number of input events at rates from dc to 100 MHz.
The FG501 Function Generator outputs sine, square, triangular, pulse and ramp waveforms from 0.001 Hz to 1 MHz. It is intended for use in any of the TM-Series power supplies, such as the TM503.
Frequency is adjusted by a decade switch for ranges and dial for X1 to X10.
Frequency stability is better than 2% (a function of temperature).
Frequency can also be controlled, over a 1000:1 range, by applying an external input to the VCF connector.
Output amplitudes of 15 Vp-p open circuit and 7.5 V into 50-ohms can be obtained.
Additional offsets of up to 5 V.
Sinewave distortion is less than 1% and risetime is less than 100 nS on pulses.
Triangle and ramp linearity is within 1%.
