South bend & all flat lathe belts

IMPORTANT (Take time to read): To replace a flat belt, measure from your machine, not your old belt! (1) Put your belt in running position. (2) Center your adjustment to give you plenty of travel in both directions. (3) Wrap a soft tape around your pulleys and take a careful reading. That reading will be the length you will give us. The width of your new belt should be as wide as your lathe will accept without making contact with the sides of your pulleys to give you maximum surface contact. Our belts have a sharp, smooth parallel cut, and correct lacing that is properly installed and set, and correct for a minimum pulley diameter of 2".
