Ace Grooved O-Ring Seal Joints
A box of two unused, N.O.S. #15 groove type joints. These joint are similar to socket joints, except that the I.D. of the joint is the same as the I.D. of the connected tube allowing space for a sealing ring. So, the I.D. of the tube and joint is ~15mm and the O.D. of the joint is ~31.5mm.
No chips or cracks. Each joint is supplied with an O-Ring that appears to be a -116. Designed by W. R. Doty of the Chevron Research Corporation in Richmond, CA. The joints are tooled with a groove to accept an O-Ring and provide greaseless, vacuum tight connection.
