Unbelievable but true, these containers are made from an entirely renewable resource (corn) and are able to be composted after they are discarded (45-60 days in a commercial composter.) They are suitable for cold food use only (below 135F) and are to be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. In addition to reducing the use of petroleum, they also reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to their petroleum counterparts.
