The i-ax EVC 2 Event Controller is an intelligent field controller providing flexible integration of access control readers, alarm inputs,
output control, elevator control, vehicle barriers, etc using the i-ax Security Management system.
The EVC uses Lantronix Intel microprocessors to provide a flexible, modern communications technology platform. It has distributed
intelligence, secure communications using encryptions, secondary communications options, etc developed around a security system.
Each EVC can be configured to support a single or multi port format using LAN (TCP/IP), radial or start topology (RS485). UTP 10/100MHz LAN, RS232 for primary and secondary modem communications and RS 485 for multi drop EVC to EVC communications available,
With its reliability enhancing technology such as the SOS (Safe Operating System) technology, on board watch dog, variable voltage
(9 Vdc to 36 Vdc) input protection circuitry, it enchances reliability to a new level.
It has a real time clock with an on board memory that accepts up to 22,000 cardholders and 8,000 buffer events. Both the cardholders and buffer events can be expanded by using an add-on memory buffer.
A system of on board diagnostic leds arrays allows the EVC2 controller to provide instant information on the status of the system and the connected devices.
