*By changing the crystal with the one in the kit, channels match the more expensive radio's.
Even includes a +10kc switch and 4 position band switch.
* If you want the channels to match the more expensive radios, you must change the crystal. This will require some soldering.
Made for the Galaxy 2547, 919, 929, 979, 939, 949 or 959-DX but will fit any radio with the same board. Such as the Ranger Freedom-One TR696, 936, 966, 969.
Covers the 919, 929, 979 - Finally a decent kit for this chassis!
Of course bandwidth depends on the radio. Some will spread farther than others.
*The crystal can be changed if desired to better match the expensive radio's channel arrangements.
Non universal, Specific Radio versions (Such as for just the 979) are available at a reduced cost.
(This kit is NOT for the Cobra line of radios. The 8719-180C is currently out of production. Sorry. If we continue to get a lot of request, it may be produced again.)
