E-C High Voltage EC 105 Power Supply
For sale- an E-C Apparatus Corporation EC 105 Power Supply. Such HV supplies are typically used in the electrophoresis process, but I guess it could be applied anywhere you needed high voltage low current DC power. The supply seems to max out just shy of 300 VDC as I think you can see in the picture, and the digital readout on the supply seemed to track within a couple of volts of what my cheap Sears VOM was reading, so it appears to be functional.
Two things of note. First, the voltage adjustment knob moves in steps, not continuously. So if you have to have 276 volts this might make you settle for something close, say 281 instead. Second, when I first tried to power it up the Check Fuse LED came on. The unit wants a 1 amp Slo-Blo fuse which I didn t have, so I just put a regular 1 amp fuse in it. Tests OK like that but probably it should be replaced before you put a load on it.
