Maximum contact of PEX tubing with surface of the plates (fins)allows for optimal and most efficient heat transfer.
Pre-drilled with holes every 10" for easy installation.
Works with all types and brands of 1/2" PEX (Wirsbo, Zurn, Viega, Watts, etc.)
Underfloor heating installation using heat transfer plates.
This is the only type of heat transfer plates which allows youto install them first, and then snap in PEX tubing, or hammerit in with a rubber mall.
Heat Transfer Plates allow for even heat distribution,require lower (30-40% less) water supply temperature and save on heating bills.Lower water temperature also means less damage to the flooring from heat.
* Our plates are Omega-shaped (not U-shaped like others) and allow to snap in PEX pipe during installation. Such channel shape offers more contact with tubing than U-shaped plates, and will have a better heat transfer.

A round file is useful during the installation to even out the edges of the tubing channels - it will prevent friction of tubing with any rigid edges.
