This tool works for you, maintaining the fence in a stationary position so you don't have the problem of slipping
when drilling free handed and causing a more seious lockout than you already have. Used on S&G, LaGard,
Kaba ilco, and all similar type locks.
HOW IT WORKS, (actually it doesn't work you do) Will work on doors up to 4 1/2 inchs thick to the lock case.
After you have placed a 1/4 inch hole, (or larger if preffered) in the correct position through the door, the H.P.,
and the lock case with your favorite drill bit and exposing the fence, (this tool dosen't show you the correct position so
it is not a lock picking devise)
You place the tool over the fence, hold it in place against the lever, then insert the drill bit in the tool and drill
off the fence. Anyone who has done this in the past knows how hard it is to keep the drill bit from
slipping off the fence, possibly creating a worst problem. With this simple tool it keeps the drill
straight and dead on, it's impossible to slip off. When the drill reaches the lever it allows it to drop
into the drive cam because the fence is no longer held out of the cam by the fence lying on top of the
wheels and it is not supported by the wheels after the fence is drilled off.
Then all you have to do is turn the spindle to retract the bolt.
