The Agilent/HP 3458A is the standard of the industry. It will measure DC volts, AC volts, DC current, AC current, frequency and resistance (2 wire and 4 wire) with high accuracy and repeatability. Complete specifications are available from the Agilent website.
Option 001 extends the reading memory to 148k bytes, and the high stability option 002 provides 4 ppm accuracy vs. the standard 8 ppm.
This is an excellent 8 1/2 digit bench/rackmount multimeter with front and rear terminals, math functions, zero offset, GPIB capability, filter, auto cal, etc.
Easy front panel "closed box" calibration is convenient and quick-the "fast calibration" requires only a 10k ohm standard resistor and a precision 10 volt source. (A complete and detailed calibration is required every two years, according to Agilent, and is more time-consuming and detailed.)
Small, almost insignificant signs of wear and tear do not affect unit's operation or readability. We guarantee it to be within Agilent's specifications.
