Physical Description: Foamed polypropylene float has a density of 0.66 . Polypropylene stem. Magnets are sealed with epoxy resin. 1/8 inch N.P.T. thread. Stem length below wrench flats is 28mm (1.11") Float height and diameter are both 16mm (0.63"). Float is retained with rubber o-ring for easy removal. Send me a note if you want a Viton o-ring instead.
Specifications: Normally closed. (circuit is closed when float is in the "down" position towards the o-ring, circuit opens when float rises.) Maximum switching current 5W (~0.5A at 12VDC), max. voltage 250VAC. Wire leads are 40" long, ends are stripped and tinned. Maximum operating temperature 100C (212F)
* Unlike some float switches, the operation cannot be reversed from N.C. to N.O. by flipping the float.
* To emphasize again, the thread is 1/8" NPT (National Pipe Taper). It isn't meant to be retained with a nut on the other side of a thin plate.
