New utex liberator i single cartridge seal,1- 3/4",
The Liberator I cartridge seal (patented) incorporates advanced seal design features. Using a "ball" drive, the Liberator resists twisting and torsional strains common to pin or key drives. The thin cross-section allows the Liberator I to be used in ANSI pumps without modification.
Aflas o-rings are standard in all Liberators giving them a broad range of chemical compatibility. The Liberator gland incorporates both vent and drain connections, a carbon throttle bushing, and provides two tangential flush ports for clockwise or counterclockwise pump rotation.
Available - EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Chemtex, Chemraz, Kalrez, and Viton.
-60 F to +400 F (-50 C to +204 C)
Liberator I Features and Benefits
1. Highest PV rating available; less friction and heat result in longer seal life.
2. Broader range of applications.
3. Even face loading, non-clogging, fewer parts.
4. Wave spring is isolated from the product.
4. Enhances corrosion resistance.
5. Uses a rotating seat and a spring loaded stationary.
5. Lower emissions in ppm, higher shaft speeds, heavier viscous materials, self-aligning.
6. Fits most ANSI size pumps without modification.
7. Three stainless steel balls are equally spaced to provide the connection between the spring loaded stationary and the seat gland.
7. Prevents twisting and torsional strains common to drive pins and keys; provides optimum flexibility and accurate centering of the stationary.
8. Liberator I gland has two tangential flush ports for clockwise or counterclockwise pump rotation.
9. Standard vent (quench) and drain connections.
9. Allows safe dispersal of vapors and product leakage.
10. Carbon safety throttle bushing in gland is standard.
10. Minimizes product leakage to atmosphere. Reduces possibility of bearing contamination, non-sparking material in case of pump bearing failure.
