Super premium mil quality shaft encoders similar to this one sell for
as much as $620 each. Accucoder from Encoder Products Company
Model 725S-OC Serial 497700. Hard to find 90 counts per revolution.
2-1/2 inch flanged mount with four mounting holes on 2-1/8 inch
centers. Ball bearing style. 3/8 inch shaft extends 1 inch, flattened
to 5/8 inch.2.5 inch depth behind flange, Right angle connector.
Requres 5 to 28 volt dc supply. Open collector outputs.
Three outputs: An "A" output of 90 counts per revolution.
A "B" output in quadrature also of 90 counts per revolution.
A "Z" index output of one180 degree pulse per revolution.
Quadrature "A" and "B" outputs let you sense both direction and
speed. At 90 counts per revolution, there will be one CHANGE
per degree on either the "A" or "B" output.
Maximum output frequency 100 kilohertz. Which should correspond
Standard one inch threaded Military M7 seven pin connector.
Pin "A" is "A" open collector in phase output.
Pin "B" is "B" open collector quadrature output
Pin "C" is "Z" index open collector output
