The Transtector Power Telco Cabinet (PTC), Figure 1, provides interlocked main breakers
for incoming power transfer between utility and generator sources, a distribution panel, along
protection is provided in both the AC and the Telco chamber. The NEMA 3R enclosure is constructed
of heavy gauge 5052-H32 aluminum with a powder coat paint finish. Dimensions of the
cabinet are shown in Figure 2 of the PDF. The weight of the unit is approximately 150 Ibs (68 Kg).
The cabinet incorporates both AC Power and Telco chambers. The AC Power chamber is
equipped with two interlocked 200 amp main breakers and a 24 position load center for site
is designed to meet all requirements as stated in Underwriter Laboratories UL891
specification. In addition, the components are designed to meet the National Electric Code.
1.4. Power Transfer Switch Cabinet:
The PTC has a load center that distributes electrical power and has twenty-four breaker
positions. The power side also includes a 125V Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFI)
convenience outlet, which permits service personnel to plug into the cabinet when AC power
is required for field service and maintenance. The AC compartment also includes a
generator receptacle and surge protection.
