For Sale Heavy Duty Lift Assist Extension Spring
This spring is brand new and is intended to assist in lifting garden tractor implements. They may very well have many other uses they would work to assist with lifting any item that weighs close to 350 pounds! The material is .250 inch chrome silicon steel with an outside diameter of 1.5 inches. As you can see from the photo the hooks face in same direction and are closed loops.
Most extension springs you see listed here will have a description that lists maximum deflection and maximum weight, in this case it is a spring that people have asked about so I cut a few and hooked them at 4 inches and 9 coils.
I have a number of extension spring bodies that are left over from various prototyping projects if you need a certain size or rate spring feel free to ask I may have one on hand that just needs to be cut to length and hooks added. I will accept offers on this item.
