Atlas, south bend, logan ? micrometer adjust bridgeport

I'm not sure what this is for. It has a flat bottom and looks like it tightens up to about 1/2" or less which would work with a Atlas flat bed or other (Logan, Sheldon ?) lathe. It has an Acme thread that may be 10 tpi? See the measurements in the pic to be certain because I can never tell. It looks to be original paint that has a greenish tint simialr to South Bend or other lathes I've seen. Perhaps it could fit on a Bridgeport mill table as well for a vise or something like that? It does remind me of a leadscrew on another vise I have.
