The XyDrive XD8 single axis bipolar stepper motor driver is designed to drive stepper motors up to 2.5A per phase. It is capable of microstepping operation in half, 1/4 and 1/8 steps as well as full step mode operation. The XD8 pairs perfectly with either our XD3 or XD14 isolated parallel port breakout boards to form a complete driver system. It has been tested to work with both EMC2 and Mach3 and is compatible with other software packages as well.
