Brown & sharpe magnetic block # 750

This is a very useful toolmaker's tool that can be used for set-up in the grinder to on the surface plate. Also used alot for holding work for bench work, like polishing, filing etc. It holds strong and is parellel and square on all sides within less than .0003" overall (except for the end that has the on/off switch & in the releaved area that runs parellel to the V). The V-part is hardened steel, where the majority of the block is softer tool steel. The area on the side that the B&S mark is on has an area of hardened steel that has been relieved by about .005" deep, but is parellel to the side opposite. Can also be used with an electromagnetic block, no need to turn this one on if the electromag is turned on with this block setting on it's mag pulls. The electrmag power will pull right though this block and hold a steel part in place. Also comes with a wooden storage case that has a locking lid.
